I just went on my computer and I noticed my desktop button on my toolbar is gone. Can anyone please help?
I just went on my computer, then my desktop button on my toolbar is “corrupted”, as I shall put it. I restarted the computer, and it is still the same. The icon looks like this:

When I click it, nothing happens. I tried making another desktop button, by right clicking my desktop screen, create another shortcut, then select the desktop folder, but it’s not the same as my old button. Whenever I click the new shortcut I made, it ends up going to the desktop FOLDER, not the main desktop. I am using Windows XP, can anyone please help? Thanks.
My quick launch is already there, that doesn’t help.
I want the button back, so that it’s easier for me to juse click one button and not have to find two buttons. I don’t want to have to click control + d. Cyndra, i’ll try your advice, thanks.
