Can someone please help me with my computer?

I just got anew windows vista laptop. The one with a twisting neck. Any time i go to youtube or any other websites with videos, it works perfectly but when i choose to view it in fullscreen, the computer turns blank showing a blue and black colour. It continues showing like that until i choose to view it in small screen before it becomes normal again. Please can someone give me an advice on what to do for my computer to work normally because this is a really big problem for me.
